Dannic “slash” DJ, producer and mash-up maestro from Breda in the Netherlands – the hometown of Tiësto, Funkerman & Hardwell (something in the water, perhaps?) This talented fellow won fans early in his career thanks to a series of amazing mash-ups. Bootlegs like Axwell vs. Julie McKnight – How Soon is Glory, Tim Mason & Laidback Luke vs. Adele – The Moment Is Rolling In God’s Air (Funkadelic Bootleg), Feel So Close 2 Unite Us (Dannic Bootleg) and My Feelings For Hells Bells (Dannic MashUp). These tracks remain a staple in the sets of Tiësto, Avicii, Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Bingo Players to name a few.
Daan Romers (in real life) won the Dancetour DJ contest in 2009 and a slot playing his productions to an audience of 10,000 people. The following year his remix of Funkerman’s Automatic won the Funkerman remix contest and got himself added to Hardwell’s new label Revealed Recordings. Those in the know already knew he was one to watch, but to a wider audience, Dannic had arrived.
From mash-ups to high-profile collaborations to tours and residencies in some of the world’s hottest venues, there is plenty going on in Dannic’s universe. But whatever he turns his hand to next, you can be sure he’ll bring his trademark technical excellence and propensity for catchiness to the table.

Capsules are regular size and easy to swallow, and I like that the jar has screw cap. Online canadian pharmacy cialis? For a man with ED, a harder erection can lead to a more satisfying sexual experience. When it comes to hardness, this can help.
It’s every EDM fanatic’s absolute fantasy and worst nightmare combined: who to see this New Year’s Eve?! In the NYE party capital, New York City, Afrojack, Dada Life, Armin van Buuren, Pretty Lights, and many more tearing it up, while the west coast is set to be rocked by an insane lineup of DJs playing the “White Wonderland Festival.” The EDM Gods haven’t forgotten about Miami, which will be entertained by Kaskade, Calvin Harris, Nervo, Alesso, Tiesto, and Steve Angello, along with Detroit being rocked by Skrillex and Dog Blood. So let us know: which one of these amazing shows will YOU be attending?!
Don’t even pretend that you’re not at least curious as to how this will turn out. 12-time Grammy nominees’ frontman, Marcus Mumford, recently told Style Magazine that they will explore the electronic side of music on their next album, while still doing “whatever feels soulful.” While going electronic would mark a huge shift in the overall sound of the group, who are known for bring folk rock into the mainstream, they would not be the first artists to do so. Ever since dance music started to take over America, everyone from Nicki Minaj to Taylor Swift have given it a try, and have been mostly commercially successful. What do you all think? Will this be a smash hit or a total flop?
Superstar DJ Calvin Harris is never one to follow the trends of others, and it certainly shows in his new video for “Drinking From The Bottle,” that explores the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles, where drugs, prostitution, and violence run rampant. On top of showing the shocking truth behind the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, the video stars none other than the Devil himself, who, in between setting people on fire, smoking marijuana, and drunk driving, is galavanting around tinseltown with strippers and the homeless. No doubt that this fact alone will stir up quite a bit of controversy, but in our humble opinion, it is a refreshing wake-up call from other popular music videos, even if it does push limits. Check it out above, and let us know what you think!
It has been said by many that 2012 was the year that EDM truly took over and went mainstream, and Forbes annual “30 Under 30″ list certainly drove that point home. Grammy nominees and winners Skrillex, Calvin Harris, and Avicii have all managed to make the list this year, which is considered a collection of “young disruptors, innovators, and entrepreneurs…impatient to change the world.” The EDM heavyweights newest honors put them in the same ranking as the likes of pop superstars Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Bruno Mars, and Ke$ha, along with R&B/rap/hip-hop moguls Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, and Frank Ocean. Only time will tell where these talented artists will go, but we have no doubt that they will all be in the spotlight and changing the world for a long time to come. You can check out the full list of musicians along with other top lists here.
Throughout the years, people have heard story after story about absurd artists demands. From Axl Rose wanting a “square melon” in his dressing room to Eminem’s “need” for a Koi pond, not much shocks the general public anymore. Superstar DJ Diplo shattered any sense of security people had about the craziness of artists this past week when the rider for his Manhattan Pier 94 show was released. Media outlets are running rampant with claims saying that is both is and is not serious but honestly, with a list like this, we’re guessing that either way, the joke is on us. The full list of demands is as follows:

The wait is finally over! It has just been announced that the headliners for the European Ultra Music Festival 2013 will be Swedish heartthrob Avicii, trance legend Armin van Buuren, and EDM superstar Carl Cox! The legendary festival has seen countless superstars on its bills the past couple of years, even managing to bag Madonna, the queen of pop, as an announcer last year. As expected, early bird tickets sold out in less than ten minutes just last week, but not to worry: general admission tickets on sale NOW for the first two days, with the third and final day’s tickets going on sale in early 2013.
Ah, romance in the digital age…it’s like watching a fairy tale unfold right in front of your eyes, isn’t it? Former “LA Ink” star (and ex-mistress of Jesse James,) Kat Von D got the surprise of her lifetime when on-again-off-again boyfriend Joel Zimmerman, AKA Deadmau5, proposed on twitter, and chose to share the intimate moment with his over 1.8 million followers. The deejay posted a picture of the ring with an attached message that read, “I can’t wait for Christmas so…Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” Kat immediately tweeted back, “Mi corazon! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiance!”
