Skrillex Scores Disney Film
In a recent announcement at Comic Con, Skrillex revealed that he has been scoring some movie soundtracks for a bunch of upcoming releases. One of those is the new Disney film, Wreck-It Ralph. Wreck-It Ralph follows the story of a video game characters behind-the-scenes. In addition to that film, Skrillex also scored the upcoming Harmony Karine film, Springbreakers. Skrillex also tweeted about the sound of the scores saying ““it’s more or less traditional scoring…don’t expect any dancefloor bangers.” So don’t expect those speaker destroying bass drops and wobbles.
Wreck-It Ralph is expected to release this holiday season and Springbreakers early 2013. Check out more of the story at Mixmag.
