Grammy Award winning Bimbo Jones (Marc JB and Lee Dagger) who are well known for pioneering their sound of uplifting funky house, have been dropping hit records for over 20 years. With 90 #1’s across the UK and US the duo has produced and remixed big name artists including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Pink, Ke$ha, Kylie, Kelis, The Killers, Tinchy Stryder, Katy Perry, Alexis Jordan and worked with the likes of Sergio Mendes (co-producer on Latin Grammy winning and Grammy nominated album), Cyndi Lauper, Beverley Knight, and Thelma Houston.
The duo bring their high-energy and flavour to this modern classic song, “Dance” which they wrote and recorded in London together. Inspired by the early days of rave and a nod to such anthems as, “Strings Of Life”, the new single is a true disco house banger powered by Kathy Brown’s soulful vocals.
Kathy Brown
American dance and house singer Kathy Brown, known globally for her incredible disco/soul voice, has been front and centre on numerous huge records of the last 20 years. Features and collabs include tracks with Namy, Soul Clap, Dr Packer & Dave Morales.
Brown is perhaps best known, however, for her work with Praxis – a project by David Shaw and fellow producer Cevin Fisher – and No.1 smash “Turn Me Out”, co-written by Brown. She’s also achieved Singles Chart success in the UK and throughout Europe alongside the Billboard Chart and has made a huge contribution to the house genre over almost 30 years and continues to be a prolific performer and writer.
