In the NYE party capital, New York City, Afrojack, Dada Life, Armin van Buuren, Pretty Lights, and many more tearing it up, while the west coast is set to be rocked by an insane lineup of DJs playing the “White Wonderland Festival.” The EDM Gods haven’t forgotten about Miami, which will be entertained by Kaskade, Calvin Harris, Nervo, Alesso, Tiesto, and Steve Angello, along with Detroit being rocked by Skrillex and Dog Blood. Mumford & Sons To Go…Electronic?

Don’t even pretend that you’re not at least curious as to how this will turn out. 12-time Grammy nominees’ frontman, Marcus Mumford, recently told Style Magazine that they will explore the electronic side of music on their next album, while still doing “whatever feels soulful.” While going electronic would mark a huge shift in the overall sound of the group, who are known for bring folk rock into the mainstream, they would not be the first artists to do so. Ever since dance music started to take over America, everyone from Nicki Minaj to Taylor Swift have given it a try, and have been mostly commercially successful. What do you all think? Will this be a smash hit or a total flop?

Future Music Festival Asia 2013 Lineup Announced!

The lineup for Asia’s Future Music Festival have finally been announced, and it’s fantastic! The festival will be spanning over he two days of March 15th & 16th 2013. The first day will be devoted entirely to Armin van Buuren’s “A State Of Trance 600: The Expedition World Tour,” and will feature top acts that will be announced at a later date. The second day will showcase some of the biggest names in EDM right now at the “Warrior Arena,” such as Zeds Dead, Feed Me, Kill The Noise, and Borgore, with The Prodigy headlining, and Psy being featured as a special guest! The other stage will feature Fun. Bloc Party, The Temper Trap, and Rudimental. Make sure to check out the complete lists of artists above!

Marc van Linden has already established himself as a superstar producer, creating a series of in demand hits and remixes. His new remake of Dominica’s 1994 house classic Gotta Let You Go comes in a fresh style, complete with the up-lifting vocals of Amanda Wilson.
