Pop-country sensation Taylor Swift knows what makes a hit. From her feisty pop anthems to her angst-ridden super ballads, Swift knows that the more powerful – and personal – the song, the more it sells. While no one doubts that she has the formula to success down pat, the spunky starlet has shocked nearly everyone by going in a totally different direction for her next album: dubstep.
In the new album, titled “Red,” Swift is stirring up headlines by completely deviating from her norm. Unlike her past music, which has been very guitar-based, “Red’s” crucial track will include a “dubstep-inspired bass breakdown,” according to Rolling Stone.
