DASCO’s New EDM Single ‘What I Need (Right Here, Right Now)’ feat. Justina Maria Available Now

Dasco - What I Need (Right Here, Right Now)

Radikal Records is proud to announce the North American release of DASCO‘s spring break EDM anthem, ‘What I Need (Right Here Right Now)’ featuring vocals from the talented Justina Maria. The electronic music production team, previously known as Bassmonkeys, strategically slipped some promos of their new track to guest and resident DJ’s in Ibiza last summer. The North American single includes mixes from prominent remixers Rob Roar (Stella Attar), Shoko, Sauna Riot! along with an exclusive remix from Tontario (MDNGHT, Krewella).

For the last couple of years DASCO have been busy producing and mixing behind the scenes for a number of well known acts under various pseudonyms. They’ve racked up a number of National Chart topping hits from the lively “Get Busy” (Tune of the Week Kiss FM & Radio 1) to the laid back chilled vibes of “Another Valentine” and “Always Be Together” on Mark Doyle’s Fierce Angel imprint.

‘What I Need (Right Here Right Now)’ is a light and breezy piano house track with an infectious sing-a-long chorus, and the original club mix was perfect for Ibiza’s sunny island atmosphere. The remixes add a bit of variety to the original sound, making them useful for an assortment of DJ sets and styles. Rob Roar takes the original mix and ups the intensity and drama for his White Isle Radio Edit. Tontario moves the sound in a mainstream direction while adding tropical elements which make it perfect for spinning at a day party near the pool or by the beach. Shoko adds some jazzy saxophone riffs and a funky chilled out vibe, making the song perfect for an after hours DJ set while Sauna Riot! dips into dark and moody dub territory, bringing in some electro elements and dropping out the vocals.

‘What I Need (Right Here, Right Now)’ is now available for download on iTunes, Beatport, and Bandcamp. The single is also available for streaming on YouTube and Spotify.

Track listing:
1.    What I Need (Right Here, Right Now) Feat. Justina Maria [Rob Roar White Isle Radio Edit]
2.    What I Need (Right Here, Right Now) Feat. Justina Maria [Tontario Mix]
3.    What I Need (Right Here, Right Now) Feat. Justina Maria [Shoko Remix]

The Bello Boys & Kat DeLuna’s “Last Call” on GoodMusicAllDay.com

Good Music All Day Bello Boys Kat DeLuna

Sending over a big thank you to our friends over at GoodMusicAllDay.com for their feature on The Bello Boys & Kat DeLuna’s hit, “Last Call” (Dark Intensity Remix). Here’s what they had to say:

“The homie V-Man sent over this Dark Intensity remix of “Last Call” by The Bello Boys and Kat Deluna. I thought it was a weird song at first, but after listening to it more over the weekend I realized it’s a club banger. This remix brings me back to 2011 when EDM was exploding. At parties you’d hear international remixes like “Suavamente” and “Danza Kuduro” frequently and Dark Intensity’s Bello Boys remix contains a familiar vibe where you may not know the words but it’s still infectious and very dance-able. Stream Dark Intensity’s remix of “Last Call” by The Bello Boys featuring Kat Deluna and purchase the track out now on Radikal Records. Enjoy!”

“Last Call” by The Bello Boys feat. Kat DeLuna Featured on Muumuse.com

Kat DeLuna Bello Boys Last Call Muumuse.com

“Last Call” by Kat DeLuna & Bello Boys has been featured on Muumuse.com!  Here’s a bit of what they had to say:

Kathleen “Kat” Emperatriz DeLuna, Kween of Klubs, literally does not know how to turn down. Turn down forWHAT? That’s what Kat would probably say. She doesn’t know the answer to that. Why? Because it’s still PARTY O’CLOCK.

Not since blessing us with her $150,000 dress-borrowing visual for “Wanna See U Dance” back in 2012 has Kat spiced up the pages of MuuMuse — but that DeLuna Dry Spell mercifully ends now.

Belgium’s favorite dance floor diva returns this month as a featured chanteuse on “Last Call,” a Latin-infused summer jam by NY/NJ-bred act, Bello Boys. (And yes, that is the very real and actual single art above, serving you Baby’s First 1994 MS Paint PC project realness. Could your faves?)

As is always the case in Kat’s world, the party is on the dance floor, and it’s time to turn the music up, pour up the drinks, get those hands up in the air and TURN THE FUCK UP: “Turn it up, don’t stop, live it up/No, this town ain’t big enough!” Kat declares above the sizzling House beats and sassy accordion sound. The vocal mix sort of makes it sound like she’s singing underwater, but it’s fine — IT’S A DELUNA BANGA!”

You can read the full post here, and remember to turn up those speakers and jam out to “Last Call,” below!

Salt Ashes Interviewed by Bright Side Live

Salt Ahes Interview

Salt Ashes has been interviewed by Bright Side Live! The songstress speaks with BSL about her influences, future projects and more. Here’s a snippet of the interview:

Let’s talk about your style. If you could compare your music to anyone in the history of time, who would it be and why?

I don’t like comparing my music to other artists, purely because I think my judgement is clouded when it’s my own creation. I aspire it to be a Giorgio Moroder and Kate Bush baby with a kiss of Depeche Mode. That would be cool… Dance, magic and darkness fused.

I noticed the track has also gained popularity amongst remix artists… If you could have one person remix “Somebody” who would it be and why?

Todd Terje because I love his latest record. It’s mad good. And Daniel Avery.. Sorry that’s two!

Things are just getting started. Where would you like to be in a year or so?

I would love to be playing great gigs, making more music and dancing harder.

Your EP has gotten a wonderful response. Can we expect a full length project sometime soon?

That is the aim, yes. I’ve been focusing on writing the past year or so and there is definitely a records worth of material there and more so I’m very eager to begin thinking about a release. Things always take longer than I think!”
