Tonekind Collaborates with Iconic Singer Engelbert Humperdinck for a Reworking of His Classic Single “Quando Quando Quando”
Earlier this year German DJ/Producer Tonekind made his return with the chilled-out vibes of “Always When”. After hearing the track through a mutual producer and friend the iconic vocalist, Engelbert Humperdinck decided to reach out to Tonekind and collaborate for a reimagining of one of his classic hits, “Quando Quando Quando”.
The mixing of newly recorded vocals from Engelbert with the smooth electronic-pop of Tonekind transforms “Quando Quando Quando” into a track unlike anything else in the vocalist’s esteemed discography.
Engelbert HumperdinckRecently awarded an MBE during the Queen’s Birthday Honors and having just announced a full 2021 UK Tour, the “King of Romance” shows no signs of slowing down. Engelbert sees his most recent releases as tools of creative rejuvenation allowing him to re-invent himself. From recent covers of artists like Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Toby Keith, Engelbert continues to surprise his worldwide fan-base. His most recent release, Sentiments EP features a duet of Elvis‘ “Can’t Help Falling in Love” with singer-songwriter, Janet Devlin, which is closing on 2 Million views on YouTube.
Tonekind, AKA Christian André Schneider has been producing music since he was 13 years old across many different genres of electronic music. In addition to “Always When” the producer released the disco-house solo single, “Hey Mr. Deejay!” in 2018.
Under several aliases Tonekind has been the production force behind Radikal singles, “Bei Mir Bist Du Shoen” (Tomato Jack), and “I Have a Dream” (K-Pax & Taylor). He has also remixed a number of Radikal releases including the #1 Billboard Dance Charting “Gam Gam” by DJs From Mars and “Run on Love” by Lucas Nord & Tove Lo – along with Snow “Informer 2018”, Salt Ashes‘ “Save It”, and Kristian Nairn‘s “4Love”.
