Metro and Nelly Furtado Release Official “Sticks And Stones” Lyric Video

“Sticks And Stones” Lyric Video Now Available on the Metro VEVO Channel

The official “Sticks And Stones” lyric video is now available on Metro’s VEVO channel. The neon-colored, energetic track video highlights the lyrics that Nelly Furtado penned on the track, which was originally released on her album The Ride (2017). Metro released their collaboration with Nelly on “Sticks And Stones” including a package of remixes via Radikal Records May 25th, 2018.

Metro (aka Metrophonic) are a UK-based team of producers, remixers and songwriters. Their career-defining work includes producing remixes of Britney Spears’ “I’m Not a Girl”, or their remix of “One More Chance” by Michael Jackson, which was featured on a Michael Jackson ‘Greatest Hits’ record. Several other pop music greats they have released remixes for include Lady Gaga, Cher, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, and more.

While Metro’s new take on “Sticks And Stones” contrasts that of the production on The Ride- a fun, lighthearted indie pop romp tangled with crunchy synths- Metro’s production on Furtado’s song re-invigorates the song with a driving house beat and electronic synths that take “Sticks And Stones” back to the 90’s dance era.
