Skrillex Now Has A Video Game To Call His Own: “Skrillex Quest”

Yes, we’re serious. Just weeks after the premiere of his film debut in “Wreck-It Ralph,” the dubstep wonder-kid has tapped into yet another market: video games. Skrillex Quest is a browser-based game that is modeled after the gamer-favorite “Legend of Zelda.” The game’s creator, Jason Oda, explained the concept in a Facebook post that said, “Remember blowing the dust out of your NES cartriges when they glitched? This game is all about that from the perspective of the people within the game.”

As for the game’s inspiration? Oda told Mashable: “Skrillex’s music sometimes sounds like a broken video game. It fit perfectly with my glitch idea, and I took inspiration from the few lyrics it does contain for content.”

Our verdict for Skrillex Quest: we’re definitely curious, and will absolutely give it a try. The question is, will you?
