Manuel Riva Teams Up with Misha Miller for New Single “What Mama Said”

Internationally renowned dance music producer Manuel Riva once again teams up with vocalist, Misha Miller for the brand new single, “What Mama Said”.

Billboard charting DJ and Producer, Manuel Riva is back and serving us another sure fire banger with, “What Mama Said,” his latest collaboration with songstress Misha Miller. Mixing Manuel Riva’s one-of-a-kind production style with Misha Miller’s pop sensibility, the deep house track is the type of song that let’s you escape reality through music.

“What Mama Said” is an empowering ode to every self, with the song’s lyrics dealing with owning up and fully embracing who you really are.

The accompanying music video picks up right where Manuel Riva and Misha Miller’s previous collab, “Sacred Touch” left off. Directed again by Alex Volintiru the new video features Miller’s mesmerizing looks along with Riva’s trademark mask.

Manuel Riva has managed to quickly became a house-hold name for the Deep House genre in his home country of Romania and worldwide, ever since he released his debut single, “Mhm Mhm”. The song became an international success, reaching the Top 20 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart, while topping the Shazam Charts in Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Moldavia, Armenia, Lithuania and more.

The DJ was nominated for “Best Romanian Act” at the MTV Europe Music Awards and last year he was the open ceremony act of the UNTOLD Festival. His latest Radikal release, “Miami,” a collaboration with Alexandra Stan hit the Billboard Dance Club Top 10 and amassed nearly 10 million views on YouTube.

Manuel Riva is built as an alter ego of the DJ. More than that, “It’s a project about musical revolution made through love. My tracks are about what I’ve seen, about stories that I have lived.” Besides the musical statement that he is making, Manuel Riva is a fashion statement made to inspire as well. He is wearing a mask at all times as an instrument against labels, a tool that won’t put him in a box.
