Clash Magazine Premieres Born Stranger’s New Track “Last Night on Earth”
Clash Magazine premieres funky new dance track “Last Night on Earth” by critically acclaimed dance music producer, Born Stranger
Clash Magazine has premiered the brand new track from dance music producer Born Stranger, “Last Night on Earth”. The song is a funk-influenced dance track with 808 beats and rhythmic synth leads. Previously a duo, Born Stranger has become solely the brain child of musician Maddox-Jones.
Drawing inspiration from pop heavyweights across the musical spectrum; Chic, Depeche Mode right through to The Weeknd & Maroon 5, Born Stranger has a firm grasp on what makes a spectacular song. His passion and finesse is turning heads and catching ears across the board with continued radio plays on BBC Introducing Northampton and XFM, as well as support from The Independent and tastemakers like Clash Magazine and Earmilk. The appeal continues into their streaming performance with hundreds of thousands of hits on a multitude of releases, with appearances on multiple coveted Spotify-curated playlists.
Taking the production lead, producer Yoad Nevo (Sia, Goldfrapp) provides the pristine pop platform for the vocals to reach anthemic status as they so rightly deserve. With just one listen to this stand-out track, you’ll be completely enraptured by the swaggering and timeless groove that’ll leave the indelible melodies rattling in your head until you hear it again.
On the narrative behind Last Night on Earth, Born Stranger shares:
“Last Night on Earth was written around a friend of mines house who sadly isn’t with us anymore. The world has lost a few amazing people recently that were seemingly happy on the surface but battled with depression on the inside. Last Night on Earth is about living in the moment, being there for each other and celebrating humanity. “
