2017 Wrap-Up with Radikal Records

2017 was an awesome year for the team at Radikal Records and our artists. We can’t wait to see what 2018 brings.  We wanted to recap on all of the most notable achievements our artists accomplished this year- check out our 2017 wrap-up below!

Deborah Cox

Dance music legend Deborah Cox teamed up with Radikal Records this year to bring the world her new single, “Let the World Be Ours Tonight”.  It was released on Friday, June 30th on Radikal, followed by an exclusive remix package on July 28, 2017.  “Let the World Be Ours Tonight” became Deborah’s thirteenth number one hit after nine weeks on the Billboard Dance Club Chart, and landed at #4 on Billboard’s Year End Chart.

Kristian Nairn

DJ and producer Kristian Nairn has been non-stop touring and working on music since his time on Game of Thrones ended.  Radikal had the privilege of releasing his energetic house track titled “Bigger” on Friday, August 11, 2017.  The official music video is available exclusively on the Radikal Records YouTube channel.

Salt Ashes

Radikal Records artist and electronic singer-songwriter Salt Ashes debuted her music video for hit single “Save It” on Billboard.com from her self-titled album  on January 17, 2017.  Later in the year, Salt Ashes debuted a second single from her album, “Wilderness”, and premiered the “Wilderness” music video on Clash Music.

Rasmus Faber

On February 17, 2017, Swedish DJ, producer and pianist Rasmus Faber released his single “We Laugh We Dance We Cry” on Radikal Records.  The uplifting dance pop track features vocalist Linus Norda, and was Rasmus Faber’s first entry onto the Billboard Dance Club Chart.  It was featured on Billboard Dance Club Chart Upstarts for entering the chart at #50, eventually jumping up to #20.

Manuel Riva

World-renowned DJ and music producer Manuel Riva released his new single “Sacred Touch (feat. Misha Miller)” via Radikal Records on Friday, September 8, 2017.  The music video for “Sacred Touch” was also a continuation of the music video for “Mhm Mhm”, both available on the Radikal Records YouTube channel

Ross Jack

South African hip-hop artist Ross Jack made his US debut in April of 2017 on Radikal Records.  Ross Jack’s single “Fear the Rush” premiered on Friday, April 7, 2017, and was co-written by Arrow Benjamin who wrote smash hit “Runnin’ (Lose It All)” which featured Beyoncé.  Radikal debuted Ross Jack’s full-length album Self Medicated on Friday, April 28, 2017.

Lariss

Lariss - Dale Papi (feat. K7) Cover Art

Latin pop artist Lariss debuted her single and chart-topping sensation “Dale Papi (feat. K7)” in the US on Radikal Records on June 2, 2017.  Lariss emerged onto the music scene in 2014, with “Dale Papi” earning her a spot on the Romanian music charts’ Top 5 as well as ‘Most Favorite Song’ by Shazam.   The official music video for the US release of “Dale Papi” is available exclusively on the Radikal Records YouTube Channel.

HEART FX

Austrian music producer duo HEART FX released their single “King Without a Throne (feat. Joe Jury)” via Radikal Records on May 26, 2017.  HEART FX, which is producers Markus Schulz and Mario Staniek, are best known for their work with Meghan Trainor and Delany Jane. The single release included remixes from Bimbo Jones, KC Anderson, Pri Yon Joni and more.
