Great Adamz and Manuel Riva Debut World Cup-Inspired “Shake” Music Video
Music Week charting-artists Great Adamz and Manuel Riva have unveiled a fun, sunny music video for their Latin-inspired single, ‘Shake’. Directed by Quicala Balde, the video alternates between two storylines- Adamz jamming on the beach, and refereeing a tense football match as Manuel Riva reacts to his calls from home. It’s a joyful music video that you’ll enjoy, whether you’re a fan of these exceptional Radikal artists or the World Cup.

While their previous collaboration ‘Umada’ delivered club-ready soundscapes, ‘Shake’ invites listeners into the heat and passion of sun-soaked parties and long, hazy days on the beach. Compelling audiences to dance, the track builds through layered percussion, smooth beats, and traditional instrumentation to create a warm, romantic, and inviting atmosphere. Adamz showcases his signature Afrobeats vocals, driven by the infectious hook “shake,” which blends seamlessly with Riva’s Latin production – resulting in a compelling cultural fusion.
“Shake” arrived during a major moment for Great Adamz, with a series of No.1 spots on Music Week’s Black Music Chart with ‘Umada’ and previous hit single ‘Jeje’. The rising Afrobeat star is also part of the MOBO Awards alumni, having joined the prestigious MOBO Unsung Class of 2022, where he collaborated on a collective album and toured alongside artists including Crae Wolf and Zitah. Adamz and Crae Wolf later went on to create ‘Kilon So’, which remains one of Adamz’s biggest records to date. Adamz made a lasting impression at the MOBO Awards this year, sparking a top-trending topic on Twitter as users gushed over his iconic fashion choice on the star-studded carpet.
