Ahead of Upcoming UK Headline Tour, Maddox Jones Releases ‘Treading Water (Remixes)’
In anticipation of his first ever UK Headline Tour kicking-off this fall, acclaimed singer-songwriter Maddox Jones delivers remixes for his fan-favorite, “Treading Water”.
Originally featured on his sophomore album, Waiting for the World to Turn, the inspirational track explores themes of personal growth, letting those who feel as if they’re stuck on the treadmill of everyday life know – they’re not alone. For the new release “Treading Water” is reimagined by UK producer RXXAN and award-winning US DJ/producer Giuseppe D.
Both producers push the track’s lush vibrant melodies straight to the dance-floor. For her remix, RXXAN blends Maddox’s vocals with fast-paced drum and bass inspired production and heavy synths that bounce and drop along with the singer’s heartfelt lyrics. On Giuseppe D.‘s remix the talented DJ creates a hypnotic and euphoric progressive house mix, which builds upon the raw emotion in Maddox’s vocal performance for a truly epic take on the single.
The new Remixes follow-up Maddox’s recently released deluxe version of his sophomore album, ‘(Still) Waiting for the World To Turn’. The deluxe includes new recordings and previously unreleased tracks, including a new full-band mix of his fan-favourite ballad, ‘21,’ an uplifting rendition of title track ‘Waiting For The World To Turn’ and bonus original ‘So Help Me God.’
Maddox enjoyed early success with The Departure, securing four Top 40 hits, sharing the stage with iconic bands such as The Killers and Placebo, and playing prestigious festivals like Reading & Leeds and Glastonbury. He’s has a track record of electrifying live performances as he continues to grow his fan-base, performing alongside acts like Thomas Heaton, Beaux, The Lottery Winners, and Lemar.
After a busy start to 2025 supporting artists like, Lucy Spraggan, Will Young and Rebecca Ferguson, the singer-songwriter has announced his own, first-ever UK Headline Tour. Starting October 7th in Cardiff and ending at a newly added date on October 30th in Manchester, the tour will feature local support at nearly every gig.
