DJ/Producer Rozell Returns with New Single “Escape” Featuring Ruzana & Sammy Plotkin

Rising Estonian DJ/Producer Rozell drops his first new music of the year, teaming up with singer-songwriters, Ruzana and Sammy Plotkin for the new single, “Escape”.

A true collaborative single, “Escape” discusses the three artists’ personal experiences with passionate, yet fleeting relationships. The lyrics center on the conflicting emotions that came with deeply caring for someone who treats you like an escape, as opposed to a priority in their life.

“We aimed to showcase euphoric hope amidst the looming uncertainty and fear of the end. Rozell’s production worked so perfectly to demonstrate this manic angst, that the topline came pouring out like the nervous conversations you have when your heart is in that especially vulnerable place.” – Sammy Plotkin

The new single shows Rozell building upon the electronic/dance pop productions that helped him top Music Week‘s dance charts and land the opening slot on The Wanted‘s UK arena tour.

“Working with Sammy and Ruz was, and still is amazing,” states Rozell. “They’re both such genuinely good people, hard-working and talented musicians and every moment of writing the new song just clicked.” 

Sammy Plotkin is an award-winning songwriter in his own right, with his co-write credits including the likes of Meghan Trainor, BTS and Phem. New vocalist, Ruzana is another artist currently on the rise, making a name for herself in the LA music scene with her original music, and live performances with hit jazz ensembles weekly.
