TUSU TV Interviews Kristian Nairn
Teesside University’s student union news channel TUSU TV sat down with Radikal Records artist Kristian Nairn for an interview prior to his Rave of Thrones performance in The Hub on campus.
Students Kristyn Higginson and Jack Gaskarth interviewed the veteran house DJ, discovering that he is not inspired by other DJs but singer-songwriters:
TUSU: “Do any artists influence you and your DJing?
KN: “Not a lot of djs, a lot of my influences would be singer-songwriters
like Kate Bush and Bjork… I was a club kid, many years ago obviously,
but I didn’t really worship DJs.”
