Krisitan Nairn has been making waves in the EDM scene with this debut single, ‘Up/Beacon’ on Radikal Records. Nairn, most recognized for his portrayal of Hodor on the popular TV series Game of Thrones, has been a DJ/producer for over a decade. He previously embarked on the Rave of Thrones tour last year. Nairn has just released his ‘Up/Beacon,’ and the lead single “Up (featuring Leanne Robinson)” has been featured on EDM.com.

His new track, appropriately titled “Up,” has a retro feel, cashing in on the Eurodance sound of the 90’s. With a relentless House beat, futuristic bass sounds, offbeat piano stabs and soulful diva vocals provided by Leanne Robinson, it sets itself apart from a lot of the modern sounding EDM, but isn’t far off from a lot of Deep House and Future Bass. Combining emotion and power, it’s enough to get a club moving but serves headphone listening equally well.
