Skrillex Headlining Virgin Mobile Freefest This Weekend!
Dubstep superstar Skrillex is set to hit the stage for thousands of EDM lovers everywhere this weekend at the 2012 Virgin Mobile Freefest. The concert, being held in Columbia, MD, is making sure to cover countless musical genres, with the EDM stage hosting Skrillex, Zedd, Nervo, and Above & Beyond, while the Pavillion stage being the performance space for rock legends such as Jack White and ZZ Top.
The best part about FreeFest? That it lives up to its name, and is completely free. The concert has been annually held as a way to raise attention and awareness for the growing homeless population, and has succeeded in raising thousands of dollars, all of which go to charity. The organizers only request a $10 donation to the new “RE*Generation House,” which is a new youth homeless shelter in Washington, D.C.
