Radikal Records is proud to announce the follow-up release to emerging singer Salt Ashes’ second single, If You Let Me Go (Remixes). This new 16-Track compilation of remixes takes Salt Ashes’ original single, released September 2, 2014 on Radikal Records, and spins it in a whole new wave of directions including Electronic, Progressive House, Drum & Bass, and Electro House mixes.
‘If You Let Me Go’ was written and produced while sleeping on floors between Ibiza, New York and Berlin, and takes in Salt Ashes’ love for epic electronic grooves and melancholy drenched melodies, with a nod to early eighties Madonna and the New York club scene. The original single is included at the start of the compilation, alongside mixes from prominent remixers Alex Banks, Mark Loverush, Sergio Matina, Gabry Sangineto, Stereojackers, Funky Junction and many more. The full track-listing is included in the Bandcamp Player below.

Exposed Vocals wrote a up an awesome review on MDNGHT‘s hit “Breeze.” The review was written up by Linda Dawkins, who had all positive things to say about not only “Breeze” but MDNGHT as well. “MDNGHT is an outstanding singing group that impressed me at the amount of professionalism in their performance and the amount of positive energy that I received from watching and listening to the track,” says Dawkins.
What more can you ask for in excellent entertainment! No wonder the single has hit the charts. The intro is surprisingly enough subtle and smooth, the lead vocals are performed superbly are comforting just as the lyrics suggest, as a breeze. A cool breeze. ” the thing is we don’t care, lay your heads down anywhere, as long as the weathers fair, nothing really matters, we just go where the breeze goes…’ I am especially impressed by the lead vocalist. There is a melodic tone quality that periodically reaches falsetto, a feat even I struggle to muster.
For the North American release of “Breeze” there is the “Tontario & Saxokid Remix” and a “North 2 South Remix,” which adds a little extra bonus for these North American fans. Here is what Exposed Vocals had to say about the two remixes:
The single Breeze is available on itunes and likewise, there is a B side the ‘Tontario & Saxokid remix,’ from the US based website entitled Goodmusicallday contains a wicked saxophone drop as an extra bonus. Moreover, its an impressive House ReMix . Even a North 2 South remix that is just as striking as its sisters. An exquisite vocal lead with distinctive qualities, A herculean display of two Electric guitars with outstanding back up vocals, finally an exceedingly potent display and use of an ‘Octopad Drum Machine’ equals a wondrous performance.
Overall, MDNGHT and their single Breeze have an amazing sound that is incomparable and is unique to its own brand. The song called for several playbacks as it was enjoyed very much and had an indepth meaning that could captivate listeners immediately. I am honored to have been able to receive an opportunity to review this single. Look for more great musical performances and more great music from MDNGHT I know I will.
