RIP Youth Close Out a Massive Year with New Single “Pink Lemonade”

Australian born, LA-based RIP Youth – the moniker of hit songwriter/producer James Maas – is closing out a massive 2022 with a new single, “Pink Lemonade”.

The single follows-up RIP Youth’s smash collaboration with world–renowned DJ/Producer, R3HAB and exercise equipment trailblazers, Peloton on “It’s A Vibe (R3HAB Remix) – Peloton Edit”. Released in support of Pride Month, R3HAB’s remix of RIP Youth’s original track was premiered at Peloton New York Studios as part of Cody Rigsby and Peloton’s DJ John Michael’s ‘Pride Live DJ Ride’. With strong radio support globally and nearly 700,000 streams on Spotify the mix has elevated RIP Youth to new heights.

Now RIP Youth has returned to end the year on another high-note with “Pink Lemonade”. Pushing his pop-sensibilities higher than ever before, “Pink Lemonade” shows RIP Youth at their catchiest yet, with bright dance-pop productions and an infectious bass groove powering huge hooks. The track is a sneak-peek at what the songwriter has in the works for 2023 and will be featured on his next project.

RIP Youth combines Maas’ love of pop, dance and R&B to create a sound that is quintessentially his own. After relocating from Australia to Los Angeles he launched his solo project RIP Youth, blending irresistible melodies with euphoric dance-pop productions.

His debut single “You Love” with Bombs Away & Reigan notched over 400,000 streams, New Music Friday in Italy, #16 on Sweden’s daily charts, and significant Australian airplay leading to an official remix from Italian DJ Molella.

After an audio premiere on Hollywood Life, his single “It’s A Vibe” broke into the Top 10 on iTunes Australia Dance chart, with strong radio support in Australia (Joy 94.9, 2ONE, KIIS 106.5) the United States (Nexus) and the United Kingdom. This strong support led to his collaboration with Peloton and working with one of the hottest names in dance and pop music, R3HAB.
