DJ Duo, Hypelife & DJ Erwan Olnik Team Up to Deliver Uplifting Afro House Single, “Uma Uma”
French DJ duo, Hypelife has teamed up with rising DJ/producer, Erwan Olnik, for the collaborative single, “Uma Uma”, out now via Radikal Records. The new Afro-house track promises to captivate listeners worldwide, with its African influences and vibrant rhythms, blending festive energy with captivating melodies.
A symbol of a new beginning, “Uma Uma” perfectly reflects the DJ teams’ collective musical diversity and unique identity. Hypelife and Erwan Olnik skillfully blend uplifting vocal hooks with hypnotic Afro-house productions, for a final mix poised to appeal to an ever-growing audience leading into festival season.
Hypelife is a musical collective founded in 2012 by two French DJ-producers, DJ Brice and Kim Jofferey. The duo has stood out with their eclectic musical style, blending the sounds of house, electro, tropical house, and Latin rhythms. They quickly rose to fame with their hit, “Pull Up,” which spent 18 weeks in the Top 40 club chart (Yacast) and was featured on the NRJ Music Awards 15th edition compilation.
After several years of producing, touring, and following a brief hiatus, Hypelife made a grand return in 2024 with “Estoy”, which received notable airplay on several French radio stations, including RTS FM, where it appeared in the “Top Indie” chart.
Building upon that momentum, Hypelife takes their new step forward with “Uma Uma”, enlisting the efforts of fellow French DJ Erwan Olnik. Making a name for himself in the dance scene with his strong remix work and energetic live-sets, Olnik helps Hypelife take their new single to the next level, with the DJ team delivering the track live to great success.
