UK Producer Frankie Plato Teams Up with Alice Dale to Deliver His Debut Single, “Body Linger”
Radikal Records is excited to announce the release of “Body Linger”, the debut single from established songwriter/producer, Frankie Plato featuring vocals from Alice Dale.
Whilst being his debut single under his real name and in the world of Pop, Frankie Plato has been making a name for himself in the UK music scene for years, releasing projects in various other genres and under other aliases; PRofit as a solo artist as well as Mid Nite Life as a group project. After performing and producing in the Rave and Hip-Hop scenes, Frankie is now diving head-first into the world of pop music, pushing his production skills to new heights while retaining his distinct style and edge.
Frankie kicks-off this new chapter in his career by teaming up with BBC Radio London presenter and musician, Alice Dale. The two met as Alice has been a firm supporter of Frankie’s other works and through several on air appearances with Alice the pair began talking, becoming friendly and the seed to collaborate was planted.
After hitting the studio together the two artists are ready to deliver “Body Linger”, a high-energy pop track with a full shot of attitude. The single is driven by those timeless emotions we all know so well; love, lust and then sprinkled with a few grains of confusion rounded off with a small wedge of hypocrisy.

Alice paints the picture of the situationship; the vibes on a night out are high everywhere. After rejecting her love interest it’s about going out and partying with her friends, getting wild and blowing off some steam. However as the end of the night rolls round and people are spilling out onto the streets it seems everyone is hooking up and now she wants just one person, the person she pushed away, her person.
Frankie produced the track, laying down a chorus and approaching Alice to re-vocal the hook, but when it came to the evening of recording Alice put forward a verse she had written. Being instantly taken with it, Frankie proposed she should do the whole track. So that evening they wrote and recorded the rest of it there and then.
“When I first started writing “Body Linger” it was supposed to be for a girlfriend of mine at the time, but then when Alice came in she took it into this fantastic female-positive direction. The writing process happened so quickly and fluidly. I’m a firm believer that these things that happen that way are just meant to be. The similarity between both of our versions is that it doesn’t matter if it’s somebody, or anybody – don’t let that body go.” – Frankie Plato
