EARMILK makes Salt Ashes their #WomanCrushWednesday
EARMILK features Salt Ashes following the release of her single “Girls”
Music site EARMILK recently featured Radikal Records artist Salt Ashes on their #WomanCrushWednesday feature for the release of her new single “Girls”. Her first new single in years following several collaborations with artists such as Kristian Nairn, Salt Ashes released “Girls” digitally worldwide on Friday, May 4th, 2018.
EARMILK spoke towards the power of Salt Ashes’ song “Girls”, in regards to the musical production and Salt Ashes’ expert songwriting abilities:
The London-based singer and songwriter recently released her latest single “Girls” and it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a biting lyrical screed ensconced under a languid future soul beat. The heady pop tune explores a situation she and many other women (and men, for that matter) can relate to – when someone she calls a friend makes the assumption that she wants to have sex based on their interpretation of how she acts or dresses.
