Game Of Thrones’ Kristian Narin To DJ The Critics Choice Awards

Irish DJ, actor and Game of Thrones star Kristian Narin, otherwise known as Hodor, is coming back to life to DJ at the 22nd annual Critics Choice Awards. Although more commonly recognized for his heart warming character in the popular television series, Narin has been a veteran DJ for many years. Narin’s “Rave of Thrones” tour has been a huge success, embodying his two passions- acting and DJing. Now comes the next big step for Narin, DJing the 22nd annual Critics Choice Awards. Hold the door for Kristian Nairn and his turntables. The Irish actor known for playing Hodor on Game of Thrones is set to DJ the 22nd annual Critics Choice Awards, EW can exclusively reveal.

Nairn, who emerged as the unexpected hero of a heartbreaking episode in season 6 of GoT, is also a veteran DJ and electronic music producer with a touring show dubbed Rave of Thrones.

He’ll man the decks for the Dec. 11 awards ceremony, which honors the best in film and television, and its after-party.

Speaking of Game of Thrones, HBO’s sprawling fantasy is nominated for several honors, including Best Drama Series and the fan-voted Most Bingeworthy prize.

Hosted by T.J. Miller and presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, the Critics’ Choice Awards will air live Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on A&E. EW is a content and promotional partner.
