StopBreatheBump is dedicated to bringing you the newest and hottest bangers in the world. If you wanna be that cool cat who always has the freshest tracks on your iPod or the one who controls the music at parties because you know the illest tunes! The blog recently featured a review of the new release from Amba Shepherd and Kevin Doherty, Lifeline,
“Our friends over at Radikal Records just sent us an email that made our day. They sent through the remix set of U.K DJ producer Kevin Doherty’s “Lifeline”, written and performed by Australian rising star Amba Shepherd. Oh, and may we add Amba was the vocalist on Porter Robinson’s “Vandalisim”.
The whole set was comprised of 8 killer remixes so it was really hard to pick out our favorites. With that being said, we finally picked out our top 3 which comprised of remixes from, Pauls Paris, Dyro and Dave Winnel. If we HAD to pick one remix overall though, Winnel would take the cake — massive tune.”
Dirty Dutch DJ/Producer Sidney Samson brought incredible, raw energy to UMF this year. With the help of Lil Jon, Samson delivered an incredible performance, dropping the biggest tracks of the spring. One such record, Kevin Doherty & Amba Shepherd’s Lifeline, was beautifully blended into the classic RUN DMC song, It’s Like That. Check out his live set below, and be sure to check out the Dyro Remix of Lifelineat the 40 minute mark!
Lifeline, the new single from UK producer Kevin Doherty and Australian rising-star Amba Shepherd. EDM blog Aerial Noise had a fantastic review of the release raving,
“Whether its Rocket Pimp’s developed and resonance BOOM!-like effects or Dyro’s dreamland & smooth baby bottom feel, the NRG created is as evident across the majority of these remixes as a room fully packed of ‘avin it ravers & over exuberant party-goers.
The Vocal Club Mix, Paul Paris’ remix and the After Hours Dub – right through to Matthew Macinate’s and Nick Arbor’s remixes; – are all individually showing what real electronic dance music & energetic structure is exactly about, eighteen times over!
With more high-spirited layers than a bright n’ ripe orange and with Radikal Records help also, Ireland’s Kevin Doherty and Sydney’s Amba Shepherd (et all n’ sundry), have pulled another one out of Hogwarts infamous pointy hat.”
Electronic music blog, Aerial Noise, recently featured The Deficient - a collection of the newest and most noteworthy Electro tunes, “WMC 2012 is here and I think it’s a good time to unleash this brand new mixtape with all the latest electro house bombs from some of the top-class and most promising producers of 2012! If this doesn’t scream Summer 2012, I don’t know what will!”
This mixtape features the Dyro remix off our latest release Lifeline. Dutch DJ/Producer Dyro transforms the single, playfully teetering between soft progressive vocals and a hard thumping bass. This mixtape includes new releases from Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Angger Dimas, Dada Life, Christian Luke, and banger from Dyro & Loopers.
