Schiller – Try Remixes

Try Cover

Radikal Records announces the release of “Try Remixes” by Schiller featuring Nadia Ali – a rework of the stand out single off Schiller’s 6th album, Breathless.

Formally the front woman and songwriter of the band IIO, Nadia Ali remains one of the most recognized voices in dance music. IIO’s singles “Rapture” and “Is It Love” not only dominated The Billboard Dance Charts, they also resonate as classics today amongst dance music lovers.

“Try”‘s moody vibrations paired with Ali’s delicate yet sultry voice result in a track that is both soothing and uplifting. The single is now revisited with “Try Remixes” a collection of new remixes from some of the biggest names in dance – Thomas Gold, Jerry Ropero & Stefan Gruenwald, and Frank Lamboy.

In three short years, Berlin based DJ/ Producer Thomas Gold has built an impressive back catalog. His solo releases combined with his remix work reads like the who’s who of the global dance scene. The “Thomas Gold Remix” of “Try” is progressive house at its best – addictive drums matched with a hypnotic melody that results in a build that is both soulful and climatic.

Belgian DJ Jerry Ropero has made a name for himself through collaborations with Inpetto, Dennis The Menace, and Danzel. For “Try Remixes”, Ropero teams up with Stefan Gruenwald in the “In Motion Remix”, delivering an energetic, progressive house vibe while maintaining the ethereal qualities of the Schiller original.

Veteran New York DJ/ Producer Frank Lamboy takes Ali’s seductive vocals and seamlessly blends them with tribal influences and deep house beats in the “Lamboy Club Mix”, resulting in a contagious club anthem that will have everyone’s hands in the air.

“Try Remixes” are a must for any house music lover.

Ma.Da. Vs. Stolfi & Kina’ – Vengo Anch’io (No Tu No)

Ma Da Cover Art

In the late 1960′s, Italian singer-songwriter/actor/stand-up comedian, Enzo Jannacci, scored a massive pop hit in Italy with Vengo Anch’io No Tu No. You can watch one of his early Italian television performances HERE on YouTube. The song went on to become an Italian classic. Enzo, himself, recorded an updated version of the song in 2006. This updated version was then heard by Ma.Da., an Italian DJ and producer who later decided to team up with Stolfi & Kina’, a duo of Italian producers, and together they remade a version of the song that’s both modern and classic with a sound similar to Yolanda Be Cool’s We No Speak Americano. No self-respecting guido DJ should be without this track, especially those playing along the Jersey Shore. Read more…
