Lee Dagger & Simon Apex Team Up to Deliver “Locked in the Groove” Featuring Lucy Jay
Las Vegas-based DJs Lee Dagger & Simon Apex are turning up the heat with their latest dance-floor anthem, “Locked in the Groove” out June 6th via Radikal Records.
“Locked in the Groove” is a true high-energy banger, featuring the powerhouse vocals of Lucy Jay, infectious bass-lines, and undeniable prime-time vibes. Lee and Simon’s skills as producers are on full display, with the new collaborative track expertly crafted to move crowds and rock the dance-floor.
The original mixes are supported by a star-studded remix lineup, including the legendary Bimbo Jones. With 90 #1’s across the UK and US the Grammy Award winning producer duo bring their signature flair to the track with heavy synth grooves. Also included is a fresh remix from hit tech house producer, Lee Rose who cranks the track’s energy even further, for an intense late-night mix.

Lee Dagger
Grammy winning DJ/Producer, Lee Dagger, has been captivating audiences worldwide with his electrifying performances and hit records for the past three decades. His passion for dance music began in 1991 after seeing DJ’s Sacha & Carl Cox spin at some of the early 90’s raves. This began Lee’s devotion to the music industry quickly making a name for himself as both a skilled DJ and songwriter.
Lee has DJ’d alongside some of the biggest names in the industry including Faithless, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Danny Tenaglia, Eric Morillo and Bob Sinclair, to name just a few. He is now based in the USA, where he continues to work on new music, whilst traveling the globe DJ’ing at various festivals and nightclubs. Lee is also the resident DJ at the brand new Las Vegas dance Radio station Vibe 99.7 FM.
Simon Apex
Originating from the heart of the quintessential British council estate in the early 90’s, Simon Apex embarked on his musical journey within the UK Rave scene and quickly became captivated. His venture into music production started in 1995, utilizing Cubase on an Atari 1040ST and a couple of rudimentary synthesizers. Simon’s trajectory then led him to the United States, where he left an indelible mark on the global dance music scene.
Simon played a pivotal role in introducing the harder styles of electronic dance music to the USA. He produced and released hundreds of singles on iconic labels such as Warner, Sony, Decadence, Resist, Slammin’ Vinyl, Hardcore Heaven, Ministry of Sound, Bonkers, React, and more. Today, Simon resides at the prestigious Shrine Studios in Las Vegas, collaborating with iconic artists such as KRS-One, Amy Grant, Kathy Brown, and Bonzai Caruso.
