Our friends at NotableDance.com chose Lee Dagger featuring Inaya Day’s “Shelter Me” as their song of the day, and here’s what they had to say about it:
Unexpected. When you see Inaya Day’s name on a record, the first though is full-on diva singing, wailing, and screaming. “Shelter Me” is a much softer and prettier side of Inaya; you can definitely tell it is her singing but it is unlike most of her big house records. The collaboration with Lee Dagger is in the current big room EDM style – pretty synth dropouts for vocals with banging electro beats for the festival kids. The contrast of soft and hard works rather well. For club consumption, there is a large set of remixes of various styles (house, electro, dubstep, nu-house, festival, progressive) from Alex Preston, Bimbo Jones, DDei & Estate, Funky Junction (with Ariano Kina & Marco Bruzzano), Killerpunkers, Giuseppe D, Looney B & Clemens Brock, M-Series, Soneec, and Wawa – so just about any kind of club DJ can find something that fits their set.

Still going strong after the release of “Other Side Of Fear” off their debut album The Soul & The Intellect, I.O.U. presents their second single off the album “Greatest Time Of My Life” with visuals directed by Jean Isaacs.
The single serves as an ode to life and all the excitement that’s been happening for Buck and Izee down in South Brunswick, NJ, with Izee graduating from Rutgers University (where the fellows made a name for themselves with Black and Scarlet iconic anthems), and all the love they’ve been receiving from their fans for the album and their refreshing pop/hip-hop sound. Entirely self-produced, and released via the independent label Radikal Records, Inside Our Universe is ready for the heat of the Summer.

Pulse Radio had the opportunity to catch up with Ayah Marar to discuss all of her upcoming projects, including her single with Calvin Harris “Thinking About You” as well as her debut album “The Real.” Here’s a small excerpt of what Pulse Radio had to say, and you can read the entire interview here:
Ayah Marar has been plying her trade as a singer and songwriter in the electronic world for some time now, and and even if you’re not familiar with the name, chances are you’re familiar with her voice and her work behind the scenes. Born in Jordan, she moved to the UK at the age of eighteen, and it was there that her music career began to take shape. Since then, she’s made a name for herself with huge singles like “Unstoppable” and “Beg Borrow Steal,” and her voice has made it on to massive songs like Calvin Harris’ “Thinking About You”.
Over time, her style has morphed and transitioned between pop and house (with a little bit of everything else thrown in too) but she’s recently taken a new direction, and embraced the style of big room electronic music that’s been making lots of headlines recently. Her record label, Hussle Girl, has been responsible for some very innovative music, and with such a dynamic resume, we decided it was high time we catch up with the legend herself and talk shop about music, life, and her work with other great artists.
If you missed it last week, Radikal’s own Giuseppe D. was live in the mix on the Remix Top 30 Countdown and he brought a long a whole bunch of copies of our latest compilation DanceHits Supermix to give away including featurings by Ayah Marar, Melanie C, Matt Cardle, The Bello Boys, DJs From Mars, Tune In Crew, Kat DeLuna, Andreas Moe, and many more! Stream snippets of the show below and pre-order your copy of DanceHits Supermix today on iTunes!
The uplifting progressive electro-hous single by K-Pax & Taylor which samples Marthin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” speech is now available on iTunes and Beatport! Get inspired, purchase this one today and include it in your Summer playlist!
The good folks at EDMTunes.com featured Lush & Simon’s latest remix of Tune In Crew ft Silver Medallion’s “Racecar Driver” and here’s what they had to say about it:
Amongst the abundance of progressive house records released these days, few are able to stand out and attract attention. However, Lush & Simon lead the eclectic group of talented progressive producers who are keeping the genre fresh and alive. This time around, the Italian production duo remixed electro pop original ‘Racecar Driver’ by Tune In Crew featuring the vocals of Silver Medallion. They definitely take this Radikal Records tune for a spin and slam on the accelerator for an energetic track that is begging for an adventurous music video.
