Black Domino Releases Soothing & Melodic Electronic/Pop Single ‘Serious’
Emerging production duo, Black Domino continue their rise with their latest melodic pop/electronic release, “Serious”. Released in North America on June 19th, 2020 via Radikal Records, the new single shows off the duo’s distinctive sound as they blend the sounds of pop, funk, and electronic for an undeniable groove.
Written by Black Domino and Albin Loán, who provides vocals on the track, “Serious” is equal parts nostalgic and futuristic. The single’s dark and heavy synths mix perfectly with the dreamy vocal melodies for a sound that pulls on the best from 80’s pop without sounding like a throwback. The duo’s ability to mix electronic with retro-analog sounds creates a track that will resonate with fans of both pop and dance music alike.
Producers Mark Wagner and Steve Delrez have been releasing music as Black Domino for just over a decade. Influenced by electronic artists like Armand Van Helden, Deep Dish, The Shapeshifters, Eric Prydz, Freemasons, Flume, and Armin Van Buuren to name a few, the two started the group in 2009. Their sound is versatile and unique, breaking down genre barriers and making their own genre-bending music with each release.
