“Go All Out” by Salt Ashes fuses her dark electronic sound with an energizing dance pop beat
“Go All Out”, Radikal Records artist Salt Ashes’ new single, is now available today, Friday October 12th. After releasing “Girls”, Salt Ashes worked tirelessly over the summer to prepare for the release of “Go All Out”- a new track that merges her style of dark synth-pop that Billboard, Line of Best Fit, and QWEERIST have raved about with an addictive dance pop sound.
For the single’s release day, The Line of Best Fit has premiered a feature of “Go All Out”, marveling over the track’s dynamism:
Brooding yet vibrant, “Go All Out” feels like a force of nature, devouring those in her path with the foreboding bass that is topped with a melody equipped for all weather conditions.
Whilst featuring her signature dark synth-pop sound, the new single is led by ear-catching tropical sounds and uplifting keys that loop repetitively over contemplative lyrics. On the motivation behind “Go All Out”, Salt Ashes states:
“‘Go All Out’ is a song about what I would say to my younger self if I had the opportunity to. I don’t like regrets and think they are destructive but it’s nice to reflect on what I would say if I could do it all over again”.
Her success began from the offset, with her 2014 singles ‘Somebody’ and ‘If You Let me Go’, reaching the Top 5 on both Billboard and the Music Week Dance Charts, as well as winning MTVU Freshman and MTV IGGY’s Artist of the Week for ‘If You Let Me Go’. In 2015, Salt Ashes continued to build her unique blend of dark synth-pop with her single ‘Raided’, a Spotify favorite which also had support from BBC Introducing and was playlisted on BBC Radio 1Xtra. The singer also contributed her writing and vocal talents on label-mate Kristian Nairn’s single entitled ‘4Love’, and rising producer CRUELS’ single ‘Give It Up’, both of which received massive support worldwide.
If this is not enough to contend with, Salt Ashes’ self-titled debut album, produced by Daniel Fridholm (AKA Cruelty) and Rob Irving (House of Emeralds) quickly gained popularity with music fans worldwide and the lead single ‘Save It’ peaked at #22 on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Club Chart, along with Music Week’s Club Charts and various other charts.
In addition, her most recent single release, ‘Girls’ was extremely well received by tastemakers, including The Line Of Best Fit, Breaking More Waves and Press Play, and was playlisted on Spotify’s UK/Italy Viral 50, The Pop List, and New Music Friday playlists. Salt Ashes sits in good company, having already opened for artists such as Say Lou Lou, Tove Styrke, Bright Light Bright Light, Femme, Nimmo and Little Boots.
