Great Adamz & Maddox Jones – Body And Soul
Hailing from Northampton, Radikal Records artists Great Adamz and Maddox Jones have joined forces for a powerful duet, ‘Body And Soul’ – a soulful fusion of Adamz’s vibrant afrobeats style and Jones’ emotionally charged vocals. Co-written and produced by Adamz and Jones, the track unfolds as a sun-drenched ode to newfound love, where an irresistible chorus, velvet harmonies, and a seductive rhythm entwine to sweep listeners off their feet.
The release follows a career-defining milestone for Adamz, whose hit single ‘Funke’ recently reached No. 1 on the Music Week Black Music Top 20 Club Chart. The official video for the standout track from his debut album ‘Blessed Boy’ has just been released and, along with its extended version, is fast approaching one million combined streams across platforms.
Meanwhile, fresh from touring with Lucy Spraggan, Will Young and Rebecca Ferguson, Jones unveiled ‘Waiting for the World to Turn (Deluxe Edition)’, playfully titled ‘Still Waiting for the World to Turn.’ Delivering an expanded release of his critically-acclaimed sophomore album, it features brand-new recordings and previously unreleased material, including a full-band version of his fan-favourite ballad ’21.’ Jones is now preparing to headline his own UK tour this October, beginning at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff on October 7th.

“Body And Soul” follows-up Adamz and Jones’ previous collab single, “Chasing Moments” which garnered strong UK radio support and over two million views on Instagram Reels. The track kicked-off a strong friendship between the two Northampton artists who have continued to write and perform together since.
“Body And Soul” was created with a lot of passion. It was coming up to Summer 2025 and me and Maddox were in the studio and reminiscing our song “Chasing Moments”. We thought about an idea of ‘Livin’ la vida loca’ in Spain drinking wine with a 10/10 damsel. As we always do first we dream of it then we turn it into a song and this is what we did with”Body And Soul”. It’s a reflection of a happy times, good vibes and dance moves.” – Great Adamz
This past month, Great Adamz was honoured with two major awards, Golden Star Artist of the Year (Diaspora) and the DAC Special Recognition Award in Music, recognising his outstanding contribution to Afrobeat music and the wider diaspora community. The ceremony was attended by local dignitaries, including Adamz’s local MP, Mike Reader, who praised his music publicly on social media this week.
Adding to his list of firsts, Adamz performed at the BBC Introducing Stage at Latitude Festival on 25th July, marking his biggest live performance to date. Fans saw an electrifying set showcasing highlights from ‘Blessed Boy’, which has now surpassed 5 million streams, with Audiomack alone contributing over 2.3 million plays.
Following the success of his two acclaimed albums and recent support slots with artists like Will Young and Lucy Spraggan, Maddox Jones is thrilled to announce his first ever UK headline tour, The “(Still) Waiting For the World To Turn Tour”, starts October 7th in Cardiff and ends at a newly added date on October 30th in Manchester, featuring local support at nearly every gig.
“This moment means the world to me,” says Maddox. “From releasing my first single just before lockdown, to finding incredible fans who’ve supported me and believed in these songs, this tour is a dream come true. I can’t wait to get out there and share these nights with everyone.” – Maddox Jones
