Salt Ashes supports her latest single ‘Didn’t See It Coming’ with a newly updated remix package featuring StoneBridge, Bimbo Jones and DiRTY MiRRORS.

After the instant success of February’s ‘Body Says’, London-based singer/songwriter Salt Ashes shared her first new single of 2022 with,Didn’t See It ComingCo-written and produced by Grammy-nominated DJ/Producer Dimitri Tikovoi (Placebo, The Horrors, Charli XCX, Becky Hill, Goldfrapp, Purple Disco Machine), the track showcases her expert approach towards marrying beautiful dreamlike vocal melodies with huge electronic dance rhythms.

‘Didn’t See It Coming’ is my f*cked up version of a love song. It’s how an unexpected love managed to pull me away from a way of life I thought I wasn’t ready to leave until they slapped me in the face… metaphorically,  of course.” – Salt Ashes

The single is currently climbing Music Week’s Commercial Pop Charts after strong UK radio/club support. Now, with over over half a million views on the music video, and a Spanish-language version of the track (‘No Lo Vi Venir’) the single is supported by an official remix package.

Kicking things off is DiRTY MiRRORS, the new solo project of London producer Louis Souyave. Souyave has worked with Salt Ashes extensively over the last few years, producing her sophomore album Killing My Mind along with co-writing several of the album cuts. No stranger to mixing Salt Ashes’ vocals, DiRTY MiRRORS delivers a fresh UK garage inspired mix filled with energy and intensity.

The second remix is provided by Grammy-nominated DJ StoneBridge. The Swedish producer has been featured everywhere lately from Billboard to the New York Times thanks to his seminal remix of Robin S. “Show Me Love” being cited as the inspiration for Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul”, and he delivers again with a slick house remix of the track.

Hit production duo Bimbo Jones follow things up with their epic electro house mix, perfectly primed for late night dance-floors. With over 80 #1’s across the US and UK, the duo of Marc JB and Lee Dagger have been dropping hit records for over 20 years and their new remix continues to show off their production skills.

Fusing together an array of influences like Bjork, Depeche Mode and Change, has seen Salt Ashes perfect her craft, creating introspective electronic/dance music with a dark, disco-esque flair. Praise has come from far and wide for the artist since her first release back in 2014, most notably by the likes of The Guardian, DIY, Wonderland, Billboard, MTV, Clash, Line of Best Fit and NOISEY.

The London-based, Brighton-born singer Salt Ashes (aka Veiga Sanchez), burst into the dance music scene with her first full self-titled debut album back in 2016, produced by the late Daniel Fridholm (aka Cruelty), which quickly gained popularity amongst music fans worldwide. She has performed at the Apple Store, opened for artists such as Tove Styrke, Alphabeat, Say Lou Lou, Nimmo, Bright Light Bright Light, 80s pop sensation Tiffany and most recently joined Goldfrapp on their UK tour.
