South London singer-songwriter Abigail Scott returns after a brief hiatus to deliver the uplifting new single “Never Said It Would Be Easy”. Produced by hitmaker Soulshaker, the track is dedicated to Abigail’s father who recently passed away, delivering an inspirational message of perseverance in hard times.
Soulshaker (AKA Warren Meyers) backs Abigail’s vocals with a heavy groove-driven piano house track, perfect for the messages of encouragement found in the lyrics. The multi #1 Billboard charting producer and songwriter has worked with and remixed Radikal artists such as Allegra, Deborah Cox, and RYKHO – along with industry legends such as Mary J. Blige, Afrojack, Robin S, Snoop Dog, Lindsay Lohan, Chaka Khan and Martha Wash.
“Never Said It Would Be Easy” also features a progressive-tinged tech house remix by top DJ/Producer Journey By A DJ. With a focus on bringing listeners to the dance-floor, the remix sees Journey By A DJ sampling and interplaying Abigal’s vocals with hard house vibes to great results.

Previously nominated for New Top 40 Artist of The Year and New A/C Female Artist of The Year in 2020, Abigail Scott made her commercial debut in 2016 with Tin Soldiers. The EP featured the hit self-penned songs “Tin Soldiers” and “Side Effects” along with a reworking of Angie Stone’s “Wish I Didn’t Miss You”, which went on to receive considerable airplay in Canada and Europe and solidified Abigail’s place as a rising artist in the industry.
In her short career, Abigail has been featured on tracks with artists such as Jethro Sheeran and worked with producers such as K-Warren, Ian Lovatt, and Gary Wails.
