Following up from the success of her collaboration with Calvin Harris on “Thinking About You,” Ayah Marar has answered with what could possible be her biggest single to date. “Beg Borrow Steal” is powerful, pop ballad from her debut record The Real. Now being released as a single, the song gets new life with an emotionally gripping music video and a remix package from the likes of Super Stylers, DSK CHK, Robot Dentist and more!

“Alive” is the premier single for the American release off Ayah Marar’s debut album “The Real.” Championed by the likes of Q Magazine (four stars), Dazed Digital, Attitude, Mix Mag, Timeout and The Sun who have labeled her the “Queen Of Bass,” this single is Ayah’s first foray back into dubstep since her “Follow U” release with Yogi on Ministry of Sound. Having been a fan of both Funtcase and P Money (a fellow south Londoner), this seemed the perfect time to bring them together. Big, bashy, dark and very unafraid, Ayah’s penchant for unusual collaborations means that her tracks span a variety of genres making them relevant to an even wider demographic, and “Alive” is no different. The official video has racked up over 160,000 views on VEVO Online.
To go along with the release of “Queen Of Bass” Ayah Marar’s newest music video, Radikal is proud to present the single for “Lethal Dose.” The track serves as yet another small appetizer to the main course that will be the North American release of Ayah’s debut album “The Real” on July 9th.
The release of “The Real” in the UK last year has propelled Ayah to the forefront of the bass music scene. Championed by the likes of Q Magazine (four stars), Dazed Digital, Vibe, Mixmag, Timeout and The Sun who have labelled her the “Queen Of Bass,” it’s clear that Ayah’s army of supporters is ever growing. Ayah was also recently named Best female Artist in the 2013 Drum And Bass Awards.
“Lethal Dose” dives deep into the darkness of desire and obsession and addresses the effects of emotional and physical addiction. The video for “Lethal Dose” displays a stripped back version of Ayah, and we’re invited in to a more sensitive and vulnerable side of the songstress that we haven’t seen before. Filmed within the warehouses where Ayah is now living, Ayah says, “The making of the video really brought us together as a creative family and community, and touched on the phenomenon that is warehouse life.”
