Allegra Shows Vulnerability on New Single, “Romantic” off Upcoming ‘Unreleased EP’.

After topping the Music Week Commercial Pop Chart with her anthemic dance-pop hit ‘Wildfire’ and ushering in a bold new era with her acclaimed second EP ‘Red’, London-based rising pop artist Allegra returns with “Romantic” off her upcoming record titled ‘Unreleased – EP’.

“Romantic” is an instantly catchy anthem that reflects on the allure of new love despite the heartbreak it can bring. The lyric, “There’s something about broken boys / That makes me feel magic,” perfectly captures her relatable songwriting. Allegra reflected on the meaning behind “Romantic”:

“Romantic is a song that I wrote about being the girl who believes in the fairy tale. A girl who doesn’t turn away the broken things but falls in love with them and believes in them. You know it might hurt you but just maybe if it all works out it will all be worth it. It’s like the Santa line… you’re told the fairy tale as a child and then as you grow up you learn the “truth”, but I still choose to believe in the magic and hope”
