Allegra Releases Her Most Confident Body of Work Yet with Her Highly Anticipated ‘Red EP’

After topping the Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart with her anthemic dance-pop hit “Wildfire,” London-based, Allegra returns with her most confident and refined body of work yet – her highly anticipated Red EP, arriving November 6th.

Leading the project is its hypnotic title track “Red,” released on October 24th via Radikal Records. Blending thumping basslines, breathy vocals, and sleek synth textures, “Red” crafts an atmospheric and irresistibly danceable soundscape that radiates sensuality and control. Marking a smoother, more mature chapter in her sound, Allegra’s new era sees her commanding the dance floor entirely on her own terms.

Accompanying the track is a striking visualiser that amplifies its bewitching intensity. Switching between two contrasting setups, Allegra struts across a studio stage in an embroidered leotard, tights, and sky-high heels – first in white, then cloaked in dark, illuminated red, mirroring the song’s flash of passion and power. In the second sequence, she wears her golden curls half-up, bursting into a sharp, playful choreography that’s effortlessly club-ready and easy to recreate. The result is captivating, maintaining her trademark fiery passion while elevating it to a new artistic peak.

“Red” paves the way for Allegra’s long-teased second EP,  a collection of five alluring tracks that capture her sultry new era and explore a range of emotions through glossy, modern production. This ranges from the shadowy allure of “Ash,” the tender romance of the heartfelt ballad “Love Me A Little”, the sensual club grooves of “Slow Dance”, and the uplifting, breezy pop of “Waterfall.” Following her confessional debut “Unsent Love Letters Vol. 1”a candid reflection on starting over after heartbreak – “Red” embodies the boldness of its namesake: sharper, more evolved, and her most daring, confident body of work to date, with each track carrying undeniable hit potential. As she transitions from her teenage musical beginnings into adulthood, this evolution feels both powerful and natural.

Heralded as one of the UK’s standout talents, Allegra made a significant impact on the dance scene last year with her hit single ‘Love You Right Back,’ featuring DJ ALOK. Released last September, Allegra then showcased maturation and seized control with the release of ‘Unsent Love Letters Vol 1,’ produced by the esteemed Tim Gosden. The collection of songs revealed her most honest work to date, uncovering hidden love letters and encapsulating the several stages of a break-up. This followed the previous success of a #1 hit on the Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart in 2023 with ‘Round and Round’, featuring DJ giant Tiesto.

Allegra’s balance of breakout club hits to crafting a collection of deeply personal tracks showcases her versatility, as she continues to captivate audiences with her distinctive fusion of emotive pop and dance music. Her ability to intertwine vulnerability with empowerment ensured that ‘Unsent Love Letters Vol 1’ left a lasting impression, marking the next phase of her already impressive career. The diary-like lyricism of the EP reveals the singer’s intimate side, creating an overarching narrative of self-love and independence designed to empower women.

Allegra has established her presence in the UK music landscape, admired for her distinctive fusion of passion and pop sensibility. Her unwavering determination and infectious sound have propelled her towards ever-increasing commercial success, with ‘Round & Round’ amassing nearly 6 million streams. Before that, her singles have seen collaborations with esteemed artists such as Tobtok, Full Intention, Majestic, and R3HAB.

Allegra’s rise in the music scene has been nothing short of impressive, with her infectious sound earning a place on hundreds of daytime radio playlists across the country. Her growing popularity has also caught the attention of major broadcasters, including BBC TV, steadily building momentum and ticking all the right boxes on her journey to national recognition. In 2023, she made notable appearances on BBC Music’s Flagship Show Playlist and CBBC’s Saturday Mash Up, where she delivered a captivating performance. Allegra also announced her single, ‘He Ain’t You’ on BBC’s The Ultimate Playlist in 2022.

Beyond the airwaves, Allegra has become a familiar face in the world of fashion and entertainment, gracing the covers of prestigious magazines such as Head Above The Clouds, Rollacoaster and Out Now. Her widespread appeal is further reflected in a host of glowing features in top-tier publications, including The Daily Express, The Sun, Notion, Wonderland, MSN, F Word, and Metal Magazine, cementing her status as one of the nation’s most exciting emerging pop talents.

Since Allegra’s debut single ‘All About Us’ reached the #2 position on the UK’s official Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart in 2021, she has repeated that success with a run of seven Top 3 singles on that same chart, and ‘Love You Right Back’ reached #2. Her chart positions have been worldwide, reaching #1 on iTunes UAE, as well as achieving a Top 10 position on the Billboard Dance Chart in the USA and many other official chart placements worldwide. Allegra has amassed millions of views and streams across Spotify, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
