Last month, Internationally renowned DJ/Producer Manuel Riva teamed up with fellow Romanian singer and songwriter, Alexandra Stan for the collaborative deep house single “Heal Your Soul”. Now in support of the hit single comes an official remix package.
Heal Your Soul (Remixes) delivers four new mixes of the track, kicking things off with longtime Radikal artist Bombs Away and a high-energy electro-house. Next is the debut remix from The HIDD3NS who expand the track with a progressive house groove. Johnny Made This chills things out with a deep house mix filled with vocal sampling, and Manuel Riva closes out the pack himself with “Riva’s Private Remix”.

Every once in a while, all of us go through stormy weather. When everything falls around you, all you need is a helping hand or, maybe, a healing one. Manuel Riva and Alexandra Stan found themselves under a dark cloud, so they decided to share those feelings through music, to transform that suffering into lyrics and dance through the pain, and this is how “Heal Your Soul” was born.
“Coincidentally, when we wrote the song, we were both going through a slightly rough patch and this came out as a cry for help. Although the lyrics convey the illusion that Alexandra is addressing someone directly, it is all about her, about us, it is our cry for help. It’s a way of asking for help. The song is called “Heal Your Soul” after a verse from “Miami”, the first song I released with Alexandra. I linked “Heal Your Song” to that song, as a continuation of our collaboration.” – Manuel Riva
Serving as a continuation of their collaboration “Heal Your Soul” follows up the duo’s single “Miami” which went on to hit Top 10 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart in 2018 along with 12 Million views on YouTube and 2.5 Million streams on Spotify.
Manuel Riva has quickly become a house-hold name as a DJ/Producer in his home country of Romania and worldwide. Hits such as “Mhm Mhm”, “Sacred Touch”, “Miami” and “What Mama Said” and most recently “Modern Love” have been played worldwide and are still being supported by some of the most famous DJs in the world such as Tiesto, Fedde LeGrand or Cosmic Gate. The Billboard Charting producer was also an EMA nominee for best Romanian Act.
Alexandra Stan made her musical debut with the single “Lollipop”. Hits like “Mr. Saxobeat”, “Lemonade” or “Get Back (ASAP)” brought her into the spotlight of international music. Throughout her career, the artist has released four albums, which include dozens of chart-topping hits and collaborations with artists like Daddy Yankee, Havana, Mohombi, Manuel Riva or the Australian DJ duo, NERVO.
