The blog recently featured a review of the new release from Amba Shepherd and Kevin Doherty, Lifeline,
“Our friends over at Radikal Records just sent us an email that made our day. They sent through the remix set of U.K DJ producer Kevin Doherty’s “Lifeline”, written and performed by Australian rising star Amba Shepherd. Oh, and may we add Amba was the vocalist on Porter Robinson’s “Vandalisim”.
The whole set was comprised of 8 killer remixes so it was really hard to pick out our favorites. With that being said, we finally picked out our top 3 which comprised of remixes from, Pauls Paris, Dyro and Dave Winnel. If we HAD to pick one remix overall though, Winnel would take the cake — massive tune.”
Lifeline, the new single from UK producer Kevin Doherty and Australian rising-star Amba Shepherd. EDM blog Aerial Noise had a fantastic review of the release raving,
“Whether its Rocket Pimp’s developed and resonance BOOM!-like effects or Dyro’s dreamland & smooth baby bottom feel, the NRG created is as evident across the majority of these remixes as a room fully packed of ‘avin it ravers & over exuberant party-goers.
The Vocal Club Mix, Paul Paris’ remix and the After Hours Dub – right through to Matthew Macinate’s and Nick Arbor’s remixes; – are all individually showing what real electronic dance music & energetic structure is exactly about, eighteen times over!
With more high-spirited layers than a bright n’ ripe orange and with Radikal Records help also, Ireland’s Kevin Doherty and Sydney’s Amba Shepherd (et all n’ sundry), have pulled another one out of Hogwarts infamous pointy hat.”
