Canada’s premier DJ, MC Mario, launched to mainstream success with his myriad of remix compilations and long-running syndicated radio programs. The Montreal-based DJ was nominated for Juno Awards in 2001 and 2004 in the Best Dance Recording category and he also received the Hall of Fame prize at the Montreal DJ Awards in 2009. Now, Mario has released his original production, Rockstar. When he isn’t Djing, Mario runs one of the biggest Canadian nightclubs, 1234.
