We haven’t heard anything from you in a while – we’ve missed you! What have you been up to?

Joonbug! Everything is great, I have been in the lab creating and traveling. It’s been a long but fun process. Every time I thought I finished my album a bigger idea would come to mind and I’ll be back to square one. To me that’s amazing. I prefer waiting a while until I release an album because if it isn’t ready.  I would hate putting out work without having my gut tell me “That’s the one!” My music is my child.

We see you’ve recently teamed up with The Bello Boys for their record, “Last Call.” How did that all come about?

Hollywood Hamilton (Sean Bello) and I are very good friends. We have always talked about doing something together.  When he played me the song I said to him “We got one!” It made total sense this song, the sound, it definitely will make people get up and dance! I’m honored to be a part of this project.

We’ve heard that you and the Bello Boys have a Spanish version of “Last Call” coming out as well. Could you tell us a bit about your Spanish fan base and favorite Spanish territories?

After I finished the English version, we definitely thought we should record a Spanish version and specially because of my Dominican roots. To me it’s always important to have Spanish versions of any work I do. Although my music is considered pop/American, I always do a Spanish version to involve my Latino fans! They support me majorly! Latinos!
