Ah, romance in the digital age…it’s like watching a fairy tale unfold right in front of your eyes, isn’t it? Former “LA Ink” star (and ex-mistress of Jesse James,) Kat Von D got the surprise of her lifetime when on-again-off-again boyfriend Joel Zimmerman, AKA Deadmau5, proposed on twitter, and chose to share the intimate moment with his over 1.8 million followers. The deejay posted a picture of the ring with an attached message that read, “I can’t wait for Christmas so…Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” Kat immediately tweeted back, “Mi corazon! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiance!”
