DJ Marc Dawn from Duisburg, Germany, began his successful career in 1998, spinning records at techno clubs throughout Europe. Besides working as a DJ, he also had time to produce great remixes for artists such as Cosmic Gate, DuMonde, Rollergirl and Maincrashers among others. In addition, he created one of the biggest German club projects of the past two years - Green Court.
Expander is his first solo production project. A euphoric trance anthem with plenty of uplifting synths, it still manages to retain it's tough element. The original mix builds gradually until floating off into a wave of melodic synths. It returns exploding into trance euphoria. The remixes by Flutlicht, with the addition of powerful 'flutlicht' style synths, add a sense of drama and energy. This is the recommended mix for dancefloor drama. It's vibe just can't be beat. The Motorcraft Remix adds some funk to the mix with a deeply groovy bassline and a calmer, housier vibe. Minimal vocals on all of the mixes. Just the occassional, every mysterious, Expander.
