The Journey is a hard trance monster of a track that has been causing mayhem across Europe. It has appeared on just about every hard and progressive trance compilation over the past 6 months including Ministry Of Sound packages.
Swirling synths,
scifi vocals, pumping beats and lots of techno energy have
made this track stand out from among the rest of the current techno
crowd.
The Junkfood Junkies are Jens Kindervater and Bernd Johnen
(Trouble B.) They met in 1994 at a local record store near their hometown
of Aachen, Germany. They started production work together
and scored their first club hit the following year with The
Gatekeepers First EP in Belgium. Numerous tracks and remixes
followed, but their most successful project to date has been the Junkfood
Junkies. Their first release, Work It, came out in 1998 and
hit the club charts across Europe. The follow-up singles J.U.N.K.,
For Your Mind, Funky Horn and Hands Up were also successful
club hits for the group.
