Maddox Jones Teases Upcoming Deluxe Album with New Unreleased Bonus Track, “So Help Me God”

Northampton singer-songwriter, Maddox Jones is set to support his critically-acclaimed sophomore album, Waiting for the World to Turn, with a special deluxe edition out April 18^th. The playfully entitled, (Still) Waiting for the World To Turn, features new recordings and previously unreleased tracks, including the self-reflective “So Help Me God”.

Mixed by six-time Grammy Award winning producer, Vance Powell, the deluxe album bonus track, “So Help Me God” introduces an electrifying soundscape that seamlessly complements the album’s dynamic fusion of rock, indie, and pop.

Fresh off the back of an incredible run opening for pop icon Will Young on his UK comeback tour, Maddox is unveiling glimpses of ‘(Still) Waiting For The World To Turn)’ while on the road supporting Lucy Spraggan‘s acoustic UK tour. The singer-songwriter has been bringing his emotive storytelling and signature blend of indie rock, pop, and soul influences to Lucy’s devoted audiences across the country, appearing at some of the UK’s most beloved venues, including London’s iconic Union Chapel, Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall, and the O2 Academy in Oxford.

Maddox enjoyed early success with The Departure, securing four Top 40 hits, sharing the stage with iconic bands such as The Killers and Placebo, and playing prestigious festivals like Reading & Leeds and Glastonbury. Maddox has a track record of electrifying performances alongside notable acts like Thomas Heaton, Beaux, The Lottery Winners, and Lemar.

Having burst onto the scene as a solo artist in 2020 with the critically acclaimed EP, ‘Headspace’, the EP reached #4 in the iTunes Singer-Songwriter chart. The follow-up 2021 single, ‘Can’t Wait for the Summer’ followed suit, hitting the top spot on the same chart.
