Lost Witness is one of the UK's top
trance artists, specializing in the extremely melodic vocal trance
anthems that everyone can't seem to get enough of lately. Their
newest single, Did I Dream, was originally recorded back in 2000,
but the time wasn't right for it's release. Two years later and now
it's ready to go.
Sampling the 1983 hit Song To The Siren by Mortal Coil, it also
borrows from Messiah's 1992 hit Temple Of Dreams. It's a typically
epic production with female vocals over a lush, bass heavy melody.
Remixes by DJ Tiesto and Minimalistix infuse some additional energy
and drama into the production. Tiesto's remix is a little tougher
than normal but still manages to incorporate an uplifting riff and
fully utilizes the vocal in the breakdown which will be putting
smiles on faces wherever this is dropped.
A very high quality trance production, Did I Dream follows in the
footsteps of previous singles 7 Colours and Happiness Happening.
