7 Colours looks set to follow the
success of their previous two import singles - Red Sun Rising and
Happiness Happening, the latter of which was released on Radikal
last year. 7 Colours is aimed firmly at the dancefloor. Lyrics are
provided by Manchester's Ed Barton (who wrote Opus 3's It's A Fine
Day)
The Original Mix is a fine example of why Lost Witness are the UK's
premier trance production duo, as the boys deliver a truly uplifting
track, with full on beats, pumping baseline, trademark keyboard
stabs, lush strings and a breakdown that will have dancefloors
reaching for the roof. The Angelic Remix kicks off the A side of the
vinyl and proves that Angelic's Darren Tate can maintain the
outstanding quality he brought to the Top 10 with his smash It's My
Turn. Progressive remixers Moguai come up with the goods as they
transform the track into a deep and pounding, relentless bassline
driven groove. Moguai expertly builds tension right up to the
layered string breakdown. There is also a mix from the man of the
moment in hard house circles, Jon Doe. Jon's ultra tuff mix will be
huge with those who like it hard and fast. |
