Born in NYC in 1970, Jason began DJing while working at his college
radio station in Arizona. Upon returning to the Big Apple, he began
knocking out the first remixes of an extremely successful career.
After producing a handful of compilation tracks, he issued his
self-titled debut EP in 1994, followed in 1995 by the full-length
Green album. This was received with heavy critical acclaim and mixes
for Janet Jackson and Lil Kim followed.
Nevins rocketed to international fame in 1997 with his mix of the
Run DMC classic It's Like That which topped pop charts across Europe
on its way to selling over 3 million copies. Recently he has been
busy in the studio doing remixes for artists such as Nelly, Moby,
Paulina Rubia, The Nerds as well as others.
