Markus Gardeweg is one of the most
pre-eminent German DJ's on the club scene today. He has been the
resident DJ in the very popular Kontor nightclub in Hamburg, Germany
for the past 5 years and has also successfully mixed several volumes
of Kontor Records Top Of The Clubs series of compilations.
He began producing his own music several years ago. His first
singles were released on the German dance label Urban, but he soon
switched to Kontor and had his first real success with I Can't Take
It which reached # 7 on the German Dance Charts. He followed that up
with This Groove and then Push, the latter of which has been his
biggest success so far.
Topping the German dance and sales charts, it's trancey retro groove
sound has proved to be very popular on the dancefloors and with
dance fans everywhere. Filter disco fanatics especially love this
one. Push is the debut US release by Gardeweg. Push it all night.
