Shining Star is the follow-up
single to Infinity, which was released in November of 2000. Infinity
gained a fair amount of club success and was even added to several
key radio stations - WXXP and WLIR, both on Long Island, NY - where
it gained valuable airplay exposure.
Shining Star is a fine example of CJ Stone's production style - a
combination of real instruments with electronic beats rounded out
with rumbling basslines and distinctive synths. Shining Star also
includes a full vocal treatment. It has reached # 2 on the German
Dance Charts and # 5 on the Pop Charts. It's on it's way to becoming
a massive international hit.
CJ Stone has also recently had much success as one half of the Bad
Habit Boys. Their newest single, Rock Ya, topped the European dance
charts. He has recently produced hits such as Blood Is Pumpin' by
Voodoo & Serano and You're My Angel by DJ Sammy. Current remixes by
CJ Stone include work done for SM Trax, Brooklyn Bounce, DJ
Quicksilver, Spike and Kamasutra.
