According to Eminem in his hip hop
anthem Without Me, Nobody Listens To Techno. As usual, his
controversial statements and opinion stirred up people's emotions,
especially among the dance / techno community where the consensus is
that nobody listens to hip hop.
While Drunkenmunky have formed their rebuttal with the highly
successful techno single E which uses the melody from Eminem's
Without Me, Base Attack have taken it one step further in their
defense of this electronic genre. While they haven't sampled his
song, they have accurately quoted him in this new techno anthem.
Highly energetic with pumping basslines, razor-edged synths,
pounding rhythms and lots of phat beats, Nobody Listens To Techno
originally created a buzz in the European clubs on white label with
a mix by DJ Isaac. Base Attack have enhanced and expanded on the
concept. |
